Several wrestling sites are reporting news that Daniel Bryan will not be cleared to compete medically at WWE's Money in the Bank PPV. SEScoops claims this story comes from a source they used that had let them know about Daniel Bryan's concussion earlier in the year when he was working a program with Bray Wyatt. If this is in fact the case as the storyline that was laid out on Raw last week the Money in the Bank match will now be to declare a NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan was expected to appear on Raw tonight so perhaps this could be confirmed on tonight's Monday Night Raw.
It has been a 2014 of very huge highs and lows for Daniel Bryan. His Marriage to Bri and his Wrestlemania 30 moment as some of the highs and injuries and the death of his father as some of the extreme lows. Bryan has been an incredible performer and you hope the best for him and when he is ready to continue he is given his spot at the top back that he had earned.
Nothing is guaranteed though just like in pro sports when an injury happens and someone takes your spot things can happen and you may never get it back.
Why the WWE refused to look at some form of Interim Champion is something I have questioned. It is widely accepted practice in UFC and certainly could have been applied here. In any case this is really unfortunate for a guy that truly earned his spot at the top.
